First Aid Kit just streamed the official music video for their new single Emmylou, a homage to country-rock pioneers Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Johnny Cash and June Carter, the second single taken from the new First Aid Kit album, filmed at Joshua Tree National Park, one of Parsons’ favorite haunts and — according to a famous ’70s rock story — his final resting place. With their debut album, First Aid Kit unveiled a knack for beautiful, bittersweet melodies. Striking up a relationship with the Saddle Creek collective, the band flew out to Omaha last year to work on new material. Freely watch the wonderful music clip bellow:
