At the IFA Technology trade show in Berlin this year, all consumer electronic makers’ wants to show their innovation ability and attract more consumers from the Giants such as Apple and Samsung through unveiling new top-end products. Today we are going to take a look at new smartphones from LG and SONY.
LG Optimus L9
LG, another South Korean phone manufacturer which is trying to run after Samsung, had unveiled another new smartphone Optimus L9 yesterday. This one runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with a 4.7-inch high-definition IPS display. Its 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage brings users faster and easier performance. Even though it is not equipped with 8-megapixel camera and more powerful battery like Samsung, its 5-megapixel camera and a 2,150 mAH battery are enough for users to enjoy extraordinary experience. Its advantage is the QTranslator function. This built-in translator can instantly translates not only words, but also entire sentences and phrases with a simple scan nearly 44 foreign languages. The OCR technology can recognizes letters through scanning with the camera and translate words, sentences or phrases immediately from dictionary or online.
Sony Xperia T, V, and J
Sony yesterday added three new smartphones to its Xperia series.
The Xperia T, newly Sony's new flagship handset, is equipped with a 4.6-inch screen offering HD resolution and a 13-megapixel camera. It is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and can connect to LTE 4G like other Galaxy SIII. Its Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean very soon. And The Xperia V shares many as the Xperia T, such as its 13 megapixel camera, but as the traditional habit of Sony, it comes with a smaller display of 4.3-inch. The Xperia J is aimed at the low-end consumers with a 5 megapixel camera and a 1GHz single-core processor. But it is worth to point out that as we all know Sony has its unique media applications (“WALKMAN”, Album and Movies), which combine the best of Sony’s technologies and connect consumers to a variety of entertainment services. And these devices support ‘One-touch’ functions for content sharing via NFC technology. In addition, all of them will be available in a variety of colors.
